Meanwhile, over at Lyndoch…

Lyndoch is a Barossa Valley township where I go to get supplies of non-alcoholic wine from McGuigan’s Winery (housed in the old, majestic Chateau Yaldara).

The rain had let up, but it was still slippery on the road and underfoot.

I tried to grab some shots that made sense of the almost-flat landscape out that way, but nothing seemed to work. This is the best of a bad bunch.

In a way it reminds me of those mid-Western images shot in the 1930s and 40s in America. It’s probably the sort of image that ‘works’ better in a very large print. Maybe.
